Our Profile

The Palm Beach County Justice Association is a countywide organization of over 450 trial attorneys and paralegals in Palm Beach County that represent the plaintiff in civil cases. Established in 1988 with the goal of providing civil trial lawyers with the tools and resources needed to improve and enhance their trial practices, it continues today by offering its members educational and professional development through monthly networking meetings, continuing legal education seminars and an extensive litigation bank.

The Palm Beach County Justice Association is community-spirited and has established programs to benefit numerous local charities. It has most recently developed a mentoring/clerkship program for law students seeking hands-on experience in the field of law.

The Palm Beach County Justice Association is dedicated to inspiring excellence in advocacy, upholding the honor and dignity of the legal profession, and encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity of civil trial lawyers in Palm Beach County.

Our History

The Palm Beach County Justice Association was established in 1988 by a small group of Palm Beach County trial lawyers for the purpose of networking and the mutual sharing of knowledge. United in their dedication to representing the injured party in civil cases, the association organized occasional programs and seminars for the education and professional development of its members.

With the hiring of its first executive director in 1998, the association has developed into a dynamic association, with a board of directors and staff that continues its mission of providing civil trial lawyers with the tools and resources needed to improve and enhance the standards of trial practices and better represent their clients. The association maintains an active calendar of membership networking meetings, continuing legal education seminars, and social events designed to bring members together in the spirit of camaraderie while raising awareness and funds for community groups. With over 450 members, including a paralegal section, the Palm Beach County Justice Association has evolved to become a leader and model for other county trial lawyer associations in the country.

Giving For Justice

The Board has created a new committee; "Giving for Justice." The purpose of the committee is to seek out local, worthy causes that are in need of a friendly and helping hand. This, is in addition to giving portions of proceeds from our Fishing and Golf Tournaments and Barrister's Bash. While in the past year or so, the economy may have had a negative impact on some areas of law in particular, and life in general, our members and our organization remain strong and committed to our quest for justice. It's our strength and passion that guide us to help those in need. In keeping with our name change, and our commitment to justice, we want to find ways to help those less fortunate in Palm Beach County. With the implementation of this committee, we plan to distribute aid throughout the year, both financially and in service, in the name of the PBCJA.
